Mom I need your help!

Disclaimer: This is really embarrassing and just shows how much of a dork I am so when you are laughing just remember that I want to get better and am determined to do so!!

Yesterday for lunch Bryany baked tortillas to make nachos and when I saw her meal it looked super good...so the little betty crocker that I am decided to try it today for lunch. I decided to broil the tortillas to make them a little more crispy, while they were in the oven, however, I went on my computer and started facebooking (#1 problem...facebook! Its addicting and I was catching up on family and friends) a little while later I went into the kitchen to check on my wonderful nachos and I went in to find a fire had started!!! Oh yes the tortillas were on fire inside the oven...so me in a panic got a cup of water and put the flames out!! So there I sat, kitchen full of smoke, my tortillas ruined and the shame coming over me! (I should've known not to leave the kitchen, I had burned a tortilla once before the same way..do I never learn?)

Happy B-Day Jared!!

It was Jared's Birthday Sunday so Sat night Dee and I planned a surprise party for him at our friends house! On our way up to Mesa thursday we sent out the mass texts telling everyone what time to be there and everything, sat morning I ordered a DQ cake and my friend Jason who works there had told me that the heart cake was the cheapest...so I said what the heck right?....the dumb blonde in me didn't put 2 and 2 together that it was an actual heart shaped cake!! hehe I am such a dork! Anyway I went to pick up the cake and my jaw dropped..crap! I called Dee laughing....but oh well I knew I was going to get crap from everone for this one for sure! I really wasn't trying to be a cute girlfriend at all haha


All I told Jared was that I was going to take him out to dinner for his birthday and he came and picked me up at 7...the surprise was at 8 and I told him that we were going over to watch a movie at our friend's house afterwards...at dinner however we were talking and he asked what movie we were watching and I said I didn't know, Jared then told me that he liked to know things and again the dumb blonde in me said "Don't worry about it, you can have some surprise in your life" (I later found out that after that comment he kinda knew something was up...again I am such a dork!)

Well we get there and the surprise took place, I really wish I hadn't ruined the surprise 20 min before hand (I had done soooo good too keeping a secret from him) but oh well it was a fun night! We had cake, talked with friends and ended up actually watching a movie!

Yet Another Mesa Run!

During spring break last week, Dee and I headed up to the Valley thursday afternoon through friday afternoon. We hung out with friends, went shopping, and went and did baptisms in the Mesa Temple friday morning. Both of us have questions about what to do next in our lives and where to go for school so we thought where else would we better recieve an answer than the Temple...I went in with a few questions on my mind and in my heart and walked out with some answers, but still not sure of where to go for school.

Thursday night, we went and got something to eat with friends then ended up going long boarding with my cousin Austin and his friend David...first time ever long boarding and I didn't die! It was actually really fun!! I did, however, almost wipe out which almost landed me in a huge catus (Hate them by the way) but I saved myself! Got stopped in the mountains due to construction...so we played a game...hehe

Tucson & PMI!

Yesterday Dee and I went to Tucson....I had my meeting with Pima Medical Institute, then we went to U of A for her then went to see the house that we will potentially be living in. I was beyond nervous for my meeting, but it went really good. I took 2 entry tests and I have to call back on friday for my test scores then make an appoinment to meet with the couselor that I was assigned to. The bad news I received yesterday that made my quite fustrated was that the next session that my program opens up is next March!! I really don't want to take a year off or wait long to start school, I have the momentum right now and I don't want to quit!I have a few options...there are 2 PMI campuses up in Phoenix that I will see if I can get in sooner there and I am applying to NWTC and North Central Tech College back in Wisconsin! Sorry my family you might get me home yet! :)

I should've taken pictures of the school, but I guess I forgot..I was so nervous! But I did take some at the house that we might be living in..the view is amazing and it's about 20 min from both PMI and U Of A so Dee and I were pretty stoked!

Yeah that's part of our view...amazing I know!! That would double thumbs up from Dee and I agree! :)

SUNS Game!

This past friday, my friend Dee and I went up to Mesa to go to the SUNS Game with my cousin Austin and his friend David. Two other friends came along and it turned out to be a really fun night! The SUNS Won and Shaq had 45 point!!! The only sad part was that Nash didn't play :( I love going to games and hope to one day be on courtside. After the game the boys found their way to the courtside and us girls just followed hehe it was a lot of fun!
