Well this past fall after many trips to auctions with my dad and many lauaghs I finally purchased a car...2003 Mazda 6. The only catch was that it had a few problems and by few I mean a lot. I fully know what all goes into overhauling a car engine and let me tell you, I appreciate my car so much now. I smile everytime I turn it on! It was a ton of work and my dad and I (basically all my dad, I handed him tools and did as I was told in the shop) did it all. A HUGE thanks to my papa for all his work, many hours were spent in the shop and I can well say that I NEVER want to see my engine outside of my car ever again!
My dad hard at work, he first wanted me to go under the car, but yup thats another fear of mine....I can just picture the car coming down on my face. This is the first time working on, we thought it was all taken care of but lucky me it stalled on me about a month or so later which lead us to the decision to overhaul the engine and be done with it.
Yes that's right...there's was a HUGE gapping hole in my car :( Very depressing let me tell ya, but it was so much better to work on the engine outside of the car
That's me SUPER happy to be putting it all back together finally! (and proof that I was actually up in the shop helping)
That's a beauty of an engine if I do say so myself and it better be the last time I see it outside of my car again
I don't have a "finished product" pic of my car, but I will as soon as I get to the car wash...it sparkles when it's actually clean :) Anyway....thanks to all this and then some, my car has officially made me proved my love for it! Let's hope this is the last time!
