I thought I had my plan set and my career mapped out...so I thought! Since working at my new job, I have questioned everything again, again, and again. I am now looking into the medical field as an x-ray tech/ultrasound tech, but also I still go back to my dream of being a 3rd grade teacher. I really don't know what to do, graduation is coming quite fast..and I need to make some decisions before May.
My BYU application is just about done, finished up my essays tonight, but there are also tech schools that have my medical field. I keep trying to get my Mom to tell me just what to do (she did that while growing up why not now?) but so far no luck. I hate making decisions and this is kind of a big one, I don't want to make the wrong decision. I have been praying about it and will keep praying.
All I can say is What to do? What to do? I just wish I could just take a look at my life in 5 years and see where I would be....

SUNS Game!!!! Suns vs. Atlanta Hawks
My friend Brooke got Suns tickets for christmas from her brother and we talked about going to a game before so she asked me to go and of course I said yeah..anything for the Suns! So we left Tuesday afternoon after classes to get up to Phoenix by 7 for the game. We stayed at our friends apartment so we stopped by to get ready for the game, Brooke had to spike out her hair as you can see in the picture. haha we sure got a lot of looks, and a lot of people complimented her and even asked to touch it..gotta love phoenix!
So it was past 630 when we finally left my friends apartment and the game started at 7, we were going to ride the new lightrail so we didn't have to drive. Ok so first experience on the lightrail (which is a above ground subway pretty much) and us two girls alone and small town girls at that. We are sitting there waiting and all of a sudden this guy starts walking up to us, looking really confused, then he says, "Barbie? Are you barbie?" asking me if I was barbie...I guess there is a barbie singer from the 80s so I don't know if that's what he meant cause I sure don't like barbie...I started laughing kinda scared cause the guy got really close looking at me. After telling him over and over again that I wasn't barbie he finally left and I looked at my friend Brooke and we just started laughing still kinda scared.
Anyway the rail came and we got on found the only two seats where we got on a it just happened to be by two couples...leaving me to sit by the couple making out...I mean come on PDA is not something I am very fond of, I don't like seeing it and I think it should be outlawed!! It was gross and I wanted to get off as soon as possible. To add to our great night that stared out, we had no idea where to get off...haha probably something we should have asked or looked up ourselves but didn't so we got off after two stops, how we thought we were in phoenix after two stops is beyond me but oh well. Finally a new rail came so we got on then after a couple stops we got kicked off with everyone else cause the rail out of service. By this time, 1st quarter was over and we were still a long way from the arena. After waiting another 10 min a new rail came and we got on, and by now Brooke's brother who was also at the game was calling wondering where we were and we were trying to call our friend Jess to look up the stops to get off. Brooke's brother told us to ask someone, but neither of us wanted to..again small town girls...what can I say? but a guy by us complimented brooke's hair so she took the opportunity and he knew and then after Jess looked up the stops, we finally knew where we were going.
Our stop finally came and we got into the arena, we headed straight for the store to buy jerseys...Nash of course!! And by this time it was half time, and we watched the half time show on the TV in the store, it was really cool too and I wanted to see it but oh well next time! So we finally found our seats which we were told that were pretty good seats...NO! We got up there and we were the VERY LAST ROW!!! It kinda sucked but we were there and I could still see my favorite players ever!! We cheered and yelled, it was great. I love being there..it's a different feel than just watching it on TV.
With about 2 min left of the game we left to go try to get on TV afterwards, Brooke didn't do her hair all spiked out for nothing. Well we couldn't find the cameras so we just went into the lower level and were watching it over the rail but the usher told us that there was a couple of seats open..so lucky us we got to see the last min of the game on the lower level which is so cool! Shaq is HUGE! Anyway SUNS won!! YAY!!! It was a great game and I didn't want to leave, but we headed to the rail..personally I had enough of the rail for one night but we had to get home...we were packed in like sardines, but luckily we got seats anyway. haha we thought we saw our stop so we quick got off....and guess what...it wasn't! so that made us getting off a total of 3 times at the wrong place...after waiting yet again for another rail, we finally got off at the right stop and were picked up by our friend.
All in all it was a great night, having to leave at 5 the next morning to get back in time for classes sucked, but it was so worth it!!! Next time we want to get a little better seats and actually get there in time for warm-up and tip off!!! I absolutely love the Suns..they have all the great players...Nash, Shaq, Barnes, Stoudemire, and Barbosa..what can I say? How can I not like the suns!!! Can't wait for the next game!!!

Home for the Holidays!
This Christmas break allowed me to fly home Dec. 12 and stay home for over 3 weeks (which lasted a few days longer due to me getting sick the night before flying back) I had a great visit back home, there was lots of snow which I loved and it was cold...now I know that I'm a wuss when it comes to cold, but for some reason I really missed it this year! So I was in my glory, cold weather and lots of snow. I mostly just chilled with family and slept in and relaxed, but hey it was my vacation.
Christmas was amazing like always, family all came over the house. We ate a delicious meal thanks to my wonderful Mom, played games again thanks to Mom mostly, and the kids opened presents, we had singing and laughter. It was bliss and I cherish every moment I have home. Well for those of you that know, know that we have this big inside joke in our family that started about a year ago...I"M THE FAVORITE...ok so its not a joke but my lovely sisters think that it's the funniest thing in the world, but really I am. Well thanks to Jeana and Mom all of us kids got a present from Mom and Dad. Well we all started opening them and Jeana held off so I was the first to open mine and Jill was right behind me...and when I lifted the lid off the box there was a shirt saying'I'M DAD'S FAVORITE!' Well my big mouth got ahead of me and I started cheering, Jill right away came with, "You have got to kidding me..." Well come to find out all of us got those shirst. Girls-I'M DAD'S FAVORITE! Boys-I'M MOM'S FAVORITE! Do I not have the best family ever? I think so! So the joke goes on, but really I am the favorite! hehe
Lunch was at Grandma and Grandpa Hoffman's like always, and as always I don't know how it happens but we all fit in their house! I love it! New's Year as well was a blast. Jeana and Burbs had a party which for awhile I was down in the basement playing Simon Says and Duck Duck Goose with all the kids...grown-up talk was so boring for me...haha it was a fun night. But by the time midnight came around, we were back home, mom and dad went to bed and Jas had just gone upstairs so here is me at 12...saying 'Happy New Year' to myself. ARG!! Not next year, hopefully I will be either in Hawaii attending BYU or in New York City watching the ball drop!
All too fast, it came time to say my goodbyes and as always I was a big baby. It seems like leaving is just getting too dang hard. I was supposed to fly out early Monday morning on Jan 5, said my goodbyes Sunday night to everyone, but 1am Monday rolled around and the flu bug (who caught everyone else the week before) caught me and there I laid...dead to the world, not able to move! My poor mom, she sat on the phone all night and all the next day losing her voice because of it trying to get me back in AZ by wed which was the first day of classes for me and without paying a ton of money. And my poor dad, got up at 3 thinking we were going to leave and just waiting if it was going to pass. Nope..he instead got ready for work then left for work. And while all this was going on, I was laying on the couch, I felt like a big dumby. I have the Best parents in the world. Thanks!!! well I ended up flying back early Wed morning, missing the first day of classes that I didn't mind all that much.
All in all I had a blast being home, it went by all too fast, but May will soon be here and I will be headed home hopefully for the summer or at least for awhile. Once my wonderful Sista gets me pictures I will post more! Please Jeana :)
