singing in the rain.

nope that's dancing in the rain (more like running) for us. thanks to crazy wisconsin weather the other night all of a sudden we got a huge downpour and what better excuse to go dancing in the rain right?? so that is what jas and i did, we didn't last long thanks to the wind so dang hard and it being freezing but we sure did laugh! this would be where i stubbed and scrapped my toe on the driveway (never fails i always get hurt somehow) but i love how huge jas's mouth is! it was a good night! thanks to mom for taking pics of our fun :)

my sister's married....

...yes that's right! i could not be happier for my sister and i'm so happy to have been able to share in her special day. i am super duper excited to have another brother (we may just call each other 'brother' and 'sister' and i love it) i may also have bawled like a baby through the ceremony (big surpsrise right?) my dad married them and let me tell ya, i saw the look in his eye and the squeak of his voice as he began and struggled a bit to get through and i was a goner. seeing the "can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars and over the moon" smile on my sister and her husband's face as they looked at each other just made my heart melt.

it was such a great day and I honestly was very sad when i got home because it was over....i danced till the music stopped and til my feet were about to fall off and let me tell ya, my body sure hated me the next few days.

SURPRISE!!!! we skipped the traditional recessional and danced out to dynamite! what can i say...we sure know how to have a good time.

beautiful wedding indeed and i loved every single minute of it and i'm super excited and happy for my sister! congrats jill and joe!! so happy for you guys and thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your day!!

Bellin Run 2011

june 11th was the Bellin Run and i again ran it with my sisters Jill and Jeana and friends Cassie, Lisa, Beth, and Michelle. i did do better than last year's time which was my main goal this year...1:16. hopefully i can continue to improve. it was again challenging and rewarding, i wanted to quit around mile 4 and 5 (my most challenging miles) but i pushed myself and i couldn't help but smile when i crossed the finish line. it was record breaking year for the Bellin that over 18,000 people were entered, such a sea of people...i felt like an ant almost. what was really cool was this year marked the 35 year of the Bellin and to celebrate that, every runner recieved a metal (it may have boosted my self-esteem a huge bit) all the girls post race..very proud of ourselves
the sisters...jasmine was once again in utah at EFY (POO) hopefully one of these years she will run it with us

a vague memory, but a goodie... add in BLISS

i have a rooster alarm clock that is just about the only thing that actually wakes me up (long story but someone gave it to me as a joke, but jokes on them cause i love it!) well i put it away from my bed so i actually have to get up to shut it off....last night i slept in jill's old room thanks to my room being freakishly hot. out of my comfort zone to begin with and this morning after sleeping so comfortably my alarm goes off, still on the verge of sleep walking i rolled off the bed only to realize too late that my entire right leg is asleep. you guessed it...i collapsed! and it gets better i couldn't get up. i remember fumbling around trying to grasp the night stand to get up to shut the dang rooster off and get back in bed which is a high bed so extra hard. i honestly don't know how i even remember this much considering how out of it i was...i just remember waking up for good finally (i tend to hit snooze alot) and thinking "gosh i wish that was on tape, i would have loved to see what the heck i looked like" ....i'm thinking flopping fish on dry land meet sleep walker. get the picture? i'm sure you do and its ok if you're laughing cause when i told two of my sisters about it they couldn't stop laughing. i even get a forward text from jeana from jill "r u rolling on the floors with jens text? lol im crying. can you just see her floppin around. hahahaha I didn't stop...man we should have a camera on her. we would b rich" ...i charge commission is all i said.

on an extremely BLISSFUL note.....i got a facial today. it really is heaven sent and i love them. (i may be a bit high maintenance, but i just don't care) big thanks to my aunt ann who gives the best facial! she's a rockstar!
