DEE: What do they farm?
Me: Cows, apparently...
ok so Dee and I thought we were pretty funny and so we were laughing at ourselves of course then all of a sudden came the deadly smell and by all means this is no dramatic telling....hahaha so this is Dee trying not to puke as she drove..it was pretty darn nasty...
Yes we did get to visit Dorothy's house in Kansas, we did it for my Mom but it was pretty cool. There's no place like home...
Tuesday we drove to Lee Summit, Missouri to visit Nick and Ro...that included having lunch, visiting Liberty Jail, Independence Visitor's Center, the RLDS Temple, and when Nick got off work we went to dinner. It was so good to see them and hang out with them for awhile. We then drove over to St. Louis to see the Arch, we were late to go up in the Arch, but it was sooo cool to be there and walk around. After that we finished the day by driving to Nauvoo to our hotel. it was about 1am by the time we got to hotel and we were both pretty tired, so needless to say we both crashed that night.
Wednesday we had the amazing opportunity to spend the day in Nauvoo. We went to Carthage Jail and visited the sites in Nauvoo. We were able to go to Nauvoo Temple and see the new pageant, which is amazing and so so good. I love Nauvoo, there is a spirit there that can not be described. I would back in a heartbeat over and over again.
Thursday we finished our trip, we drove in the driveway at about 5 in the afternoon. It was definitely such a fun trip, Thanks so much Dee for coming with me and helping me, it was such a blast. It is definitely good to be home too, Right now I'm just chilling with the family and job hunting...FYI job hunting sucks, but hopefully something comes up soon. Dee & I are already planning our next road trip hahaha it was sooooo fun!!
